Scheduling meetings at Dissertation Dragon

To avoid confusion, thesis / dissertation students often prefer to state their date and time preferences for real-time sessions using 24-hour Coordinated Universal Time (or UTC). However, you will be given the option to use your local time.

  1. Follow this WorldTimeServer link for the UTC equivalent for your local time on your ideal meeting date
  2. Choose your date in the future. (example April 30, 2013)
  3. In location 1, select 'UTC'
  4. In location 2, select your location (example Washington, United States)
  5. Click the 'Submit' button

  1. Match your ideal date and time with the corresponding UTC time (example Tue 30 at 1400, ie 2pm in Washington, United States is Tue 30 at 2100 UTC) 
  2. When coordinating a meeting for 1400, April 30 your time in Washington, United States, provide your ideal time as 2100 UTC, April 30.
